CONTESTS open to members and non-members: postmarked in April and May 
only.

No entry fee for paid-up members.

Non-members may submit 3 entries for $10 (payable to NEPC) and $3 for 
each additional poem.

Only one poem per contest.

Poems should be typed and submitted in duplicate, with the author's 
name, address, and email address on one copy.

Label poems with the name of the contest.

Mark the envelope with the name or names of the contest(s) entered 
before mailing to:

It’s not too late to start your low-residency MFA this summer!

The New Hampshire Institute of Art is still accepting applications for the June 21^st residency. Come write with and learn from Paul Harding (Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, Tinkers, 2010) and Kate Christensen (PEN/Faulkner Award, The Great Man, 2008) as you start a low-residency MFA program that celebrates all genres of writing and literary traditions while focusing on your individual interests. Work alongside visual artists and experience the arts community of picturesque Peterborough, NH.

The 2013 New England Book Festival has issued a call for entries to its annual program honoring the best books of the holiday season. The day festival and awards will be held in January, 2014 at the historic Omni Parker House Hotel in Boston.

The competition will accept entries in non-fiction, fiction, biography/autobiography, children's books, young adult, how-to, cookbooks, science fiction, photography/art, poetry, spiritual works, compilations/anthologies, gay, unpublished stories and wild card (for books that don't neatly fit elsewhere). All entries must be in English.

Saturday is the big day: NHWP 25th anniversary celebration on Writers’ Day 2013 with kenote speaker Andre Dubus III.

In order to ensure you have a wonderful day, please take a moment to read over these instructions and to consult the Southern New Hampshire University campus MAP.

Please park in the Visitor’s Parking Lot 12-C’V across from SNHU’s main entrance. You will then head North to the Dining Center (Building 21), where Registration is located on the second floor in the Banquet Hall.

Registration opens at 8AM. The Welcome starts promptly at 8:50AM. Keynote address starts at 9:05AM.

The last Literary Flash regional will be held in at Salt Hill Pub in Lebanon on April 1, 2013 during Writers' Night Out (7-9 p.m.).
