Register now for "EMBODIMENT: Honoring Poems Through Performance" with Mark Palos of Slam Free Or Die, Saturday, June 21 at 1pm
Have you ever wanted to perform your poems for an audience but just feel like something is missing or like you don’t know how to begin? In this workshop, we will discuss what makes up a truly great performance, the importance of honesty (and the meaning of physical honesty), projecting confidence and ownership, how to develop a performance based on the content of the poem, balancing that with the emotional space that inspired the writing of the poem in the first place, and also audience analysis and adaptation. Click here for more details including how to register.
